Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 21, 2025
1. Who We Are
Lugia Digital operates the Site and provides the services described herein. Our contact information is listed at the end of this policy.
2. Scope
This policy applies to personal information collected through the Site and its associated services. It does not apply to the practices of third parties to which the Site may link.
3. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (e.g., through a contact form), information collected automatically (e.g., analytics data and server logs), and information from third parties when you use integrated services (e.g., pre-filling via WhatsApp). Types of information include contact details, message content, device and browser information, IP address, timestamps, and aggregated usage metrics.
4. Purposes of Data Processing
We use information to respond to inquiries, provide and improve our services, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and send communications where there is a lawful basis. We also process pseudonymous data for analytics where consent is given.
5. Legal Bases
Depending on the law, we rely on legitimate interests (e.g., securing the site and fraud prevention), performance of a contract, and consent for optional processing like analytics and advertising. You can withdraw consent at any time via the consent banner.
6. Cookies and Consent
The Site uses essential cookies for functionality and optional cookies for analytics and advertising. Optional categories are disabled by default. You can manage your choices via the cookie banner; disabling certain cookies may affect your experience.
7. Analytics (GA4 with Consent Mode)
We use Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode. Before consent, analytics_storage and ad_storage are denied and only limited, non-identifying pings may be sent. After consent, GA4 collects governed usage data to help improve the site; we enable data-redaction settings as appropriate.
8. Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell personal information. We share information with sub-processors and service providers (e.g., hosting, email delivery, analytics, CDN) under data processing agreements that limit their use. We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations or to protect our rights and user safety. Processors include Google (Analytics), Cloudflare (Turnstile), Vercel (Hosting), and our email provider.
9. Retention
We retain contact form submissions for up to 24 months for handling and follow-up. Server logs are kept for operational and security purposes (typically around 30 days). Analytics data is retained according to property settings. Consent records are stored locally in your browser until you change your preferences.
10. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries outside of your own, including the United States and other countries where our processors operate. Where required by law, we will rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers.
11. Your Rights
Under law, you may be able to request access to, correction of, restriction of processing of, deletion of, or portability of the information we hold. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw your consent for optional processing.
12. How to Exercise Rights
To exercise your rights, please contact us at the email address listed in the contact section. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request; we will respond within legally mandated timeframes.
13. Children
The Site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us, and we will take steps to remove it.
14. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted and announced where appropriate. Note the effective date at the top of this policy; continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of updates.
